Aging In Place Program for Homeowners in Medina County
Our program is designed to provide accessibility modifications and support to eligible homeowners aged 60 and older. We understand the importance of maintaining a safe and accessible living environment as you age, and we are here to make that a reality.
Our Aging In Place Program offers a range of services and modifications that enhance the quality of life for seniors in Medina County. We believe that everyone deserves to age gracefully in the comfort of their own home. Depending on your situation, our program can assist with various home modifications.
To qualify for the Aging In Place Program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Homeowner: Applicants must own the home they wish to have modified.
- Age 60 or Older: You must be 60 years of age or older to be eligible for our program.
- Reside in Medina County: The program is exclusively for residents of Medina County.

To begin the process, interested individuals can speak to the Medina County Office of Older Adults. They will guide you through the documentation requirements.
After receiving your information, the Medina County Office of Older Adults will conduct a home visit to assess your specific needs. This step helps us understand how we can best assist you.
Once your information is reviewed and approved, the Medina County Office of Older Adults will refer your case to Habitat for Humanity of Medina County.
Our team of skilled volunteers and professionals will work on the necessary modifications to your home to improve accessibility and safety.
